From the small parking area, follow the path with the red arrows; signposted « Machaby » at its start, (rock steps, some fixed ropes). You come to a path that goes along the bottom of the cliff at the route “ Bucce d’Arancia “. Go up on the right 10 more minutes ( Black plaque on the rock; Patata Bollente on the right).

9 pitches to reach Paretone. L# | 5c+ | A delicate move at the very beginning, but well bolted. | L# | 5a | Go up slightly on the right, strqight away L2 of Patata Bollente | L# | 5a | Still go up slightly on the right | L# | 5b | Slab then a nice crack | L# | 5c+ | A very delicate move at the beginning…slippery ! then it is easy | L# | 6a+ | Slab | L# | 5c+ | Slab, 5c in the first 15m | L# | 5b/c |Long pitch, slab | L# | 5b/c | Slab |

Descend to gain the peaceful, little village of Machaby, then go sharply to the right, yellow signpost for the parking, (do not follow the stony track to the left going down the valley,) to follow a path with paint marks, (fixed ropes, easy rocky sections equipped with metal rungs, rails etc,) to the foot of the routes

• Because it faces SW and the low altitude, climbing is possible most of the year. • Good, varied route, sustained at the grade • Good rock, mostly slabs
