Col de la Charrat - NW Side
Nice view of the lake and the Cirque du Goléon, as well as the Aiguilles d’Arves.
Go up the valley to Lac du Goléon (2438) on the right bank, and cross the final steep path on the left rather than the stream. At the lake, turn right towards the Col de la Charrat, which is widely visible to the left of the Pic des 3 Évêchés. Go up the beautiful slope at best to pass 2884.
In summer, it is a scramble subject to falling rocks in the scree.
By the same route.
