Route
From the Britannia hut, descend 120m, then cross the Hohlaub glacier to pass at about 2900m the spur coming down from the Hohlaubgrat (Pte 3144m). Continue up the Allalin Glacier towards the Adlerpass (3789m). A little before the col, climb up towards the WNW ridge to join it about 100m above the col. Reach the summit by the gentle slopes between the WNW and N ridges.

Variant
One can descend directly down the small glacial valley without going onto the ridge above the col. (Careful: large crevasses.) There is a 50-100m climb back up to the hut. (Risk of snow slides)
- No great difficulties but some superb views.
- The Britannia hut is very comfortable, with feather beds and music in the morning to wake you up.
- Possibility to bivouac near the hut or on the glacier.
