Mostnica gorge - from Vodnikov dom to Lake Bohinj

Route

From the Vodnikov dom mountain hut, head southwards along the trail that goes up a little along the slope before going down. A little further take a small path to the right discreetly marked “Voje”. Follow it until reaching the wide Mostnica valley at alt. approx. 750m, close to the hostel at Slap Mostnice. Follow the right bank track to another hostel (Planinska koča na Vojah) alt. approx. 680m (parking, terminus of the track coming up from Stara Fužina). From there, follow the directions Stara Fužina; the trail descends into the ravine and further reaches Lake Bohinj.
