Punta Isabella is a small summit located just S of the wide depression of Col de Triolet. They are two distinct summits, the northern is the highest and the usually climbed one.

Punta Isabella is named after Miss Mary Isabella Stratton who climbed it for the first time with Jean-Esteril and Pierre Charlet in 1875.
