Le Schwarzhorn (en allemand) ou Corno Nero (en italien) est un des sommets du Mont Rose. Son nom signifie “Tête Noire”.

Historique

  • 1re ascension : 18 août 1873 - Édouard Cupelin, Niklaus et Peter Knubel, Marco Maglioni, Albert Rothschild. Montée par l’arête NE, descente par le S.
  • Versant N : 1re ascension : 16 août 1884 - William Martin Conway, un guide et un porteur.
  • Arête S : 1re ascension : 31 août 1894 - Agostino Ferrari, Andrea Pellissier, Bernardo Pession.
