Access # 10 mins

From the Vallorcine railway station/ski lift carpark take the little road across the railway and then turn right to walk through a field to a signpost pointing left for the “ecole d’escalade”. Follow the path upwards through the trees to the foot of the crag. Start right of Crocs mignons route], just below where the path at the bottom of the crag is blocked by a shrubby tree.

Route

L# | 4c | 19m | Fopllow the bolts diagonally rightwards beneath the overhangs to a belay. L# | 4a | 16m | Go up to the right of the large tree, belay chains, then straight up, bolt, to a good ledge and cemented ring belay. L# | 5c | 35m | Superb pitch. Climb the rib, passing a dead tree to your left, make an awkward step up onto the slab proper, then up to a crack and follow this to the belay, (three bolts.). N.B. There are no bolts next to the crack. You need to place your own protection, large nuts/friends about size 2. L# | 5a | 24m | Continue pleasantly up the rib, then slabs, to the chain at the top of the crag.

Descent

Either abseil back down the route, awkward if other climbers are about, or preferably, follow the chains leftwards, (looking up,) to an easy descent down ladders.
