### Approach
Leave Valnontey direction SW by the Vittorio Sella hut path and pass in front of the Botanical Garden. In 40 minutes the path arrives at the foot of two icefalls. The one on the right, with a large volume of flowing water, is Lauson grade 3. It rarely freezes. The one on the left, with yellow ice and a nice column in the first pitch, is Ingegneria:

### Route
**P1:** An 80º wall for 20m then a nice vertical column for 10m. Exit by a snow slope to a belay in the rocks on the left.

**P2:** Snow slope then a wall at 75-80°.

### Descent
Abseil, or go up the snow slope until the path which descends from the Vittorio Sella hut and leads back to Valnontey.

<p>Le Grand Paradis est un massif des Alpes situé dans le Val d&#8217;Aoste et le Piémont. Avec 4061m, le sommet du Grand Paradis en est le point culminant. Le massif est constitué principalement de roches cristallines ainsi que de schistes.</p> <p>Le parc national du Grand Paradis a été créé en 1922. Il recouvre environ la moitié W du massif et jouxte le parc national de la Vanoise, côté français.</p>
