Approach

From the parking at the end of the village follow the track towards the glacier. After about 40 minutes you arrive at the water outlet from the reservoir. From here go up a gully leading to three icefalls, the route is the one furthest left, consisting of several, successive walls.

Route

L# | 50m | Not technical 40-50°, Ice screw belay. L# | | Several short, vertical walls, bolt belay on the left. L# | 60m | One long pitch (or two, 37m and 23m), more sustained and steep. Bolt belay on the left.

There is a further 20m of ice, not worth the effort.

Descent

Abseil down the route. N.B 2×50 m ropes only just enough. For P1, use an abalakov.

Faces N, so can remain in condition for a long time. The approach gully is subject to avalanches.
