Approach
Same as for the Aig du Rochefort
Route
From the Aiguille de Rochefort, go E, descending to a depression in the ridge to reach a col, 3895m. Follow the ridge to the E, alternatively snow and little rock steps, (the first one climbed on the crest by a crack not immediately obvious,) to a dome at 3963m. Continue along the snowy ridge, leaving the Doigt de Rochefort to the right. Climb the final buttress by a spur parallel to the ridge, (not good rock,) to the summit of the Dôme de Rochefort (4015m).
Descent
By the same route or continue the complete traverse of the Grand Jorasses…..
