Details

A fine north-facing descent which keeps the powder for a long time.

As for the preceding route, the exit onto the Glacier d’Argentière can be tricky as rocky barriers which were previously under the ice are now exposed due to the retreat of the glaciers.

Good snow cover is now essential to bury these obstacles.

A reconnaissance run down the classic Rognon route will help to check out conditions on this route.

Good visibility is essential as is glacier travel gear.

Obvious. Observe the exit from the Argentière glacier
