This nice direct line, about 15 m wide, plunges down towards the Mer de Glace.

A 60 m abseil is necessary before you can put your skis on.

You won’t go unnoticed whilst doing this as the start is at the beginning of the Bochard pistes.

With the retreat of the Mer de Glace, a visual reccy is advisable from the Montenvers arrival station, so as to be sure that the couloirs from the moraine still pass.
