Le Glacier de Toule

Timing is essential if you are to make the most of this descent: we recommend you be on it between 10 and 11am in spring.

Any earlier and the snow is be too hard, any later and it will have turned to unskiable slush.

It’s a good idea to get an early start in powder snow conditions, as even in the heart of winter the snow here warms up very quickly.

The Toule glacier followed by the Combe de la Vierge and the Vallée Blanche is the recipe for a great day’s skiing.
