2100 m (vertical height loss) of sustained skiing set against the sumptuous backdrop of the huge glacial cirque under the south face of the Dent du Géant make the Marbées couloir one of the premier descents in the Mont Blanc massif.
Windslab accumulates on the east-facing summit slopes during even the mildest low pressure weather systems.
The Marbées couloir is one of the parts of the massif where the most deaths have occurred.
Make sure you have checked there are decent snow conditions in the valley.
Glacier off piste kit.
