A classic but much less popular than the N Face or the Gervasutti.

From the Torino hut or the pointe Helbronner, cross the Col des Flambeaux, go under the Aiguille de Toule and continue towards the Combe Maudite. Go under the N face of the Tour Ronde and to below the bergshrund on the W face.

The obvious gully to the left of the Gervasutti couloir. Go up the snow slope to overcome the bergschrund.
After another snow slopeclimb an ice wall at 80º.
Climb up the short snow slope above then several steps at 65° in the iced up gully. Gain the summit ridge by the top part of the N face.

By the normal route: snowy ridge to start to a little, obvious col, (abseil ring behind a rock boulder.) Continue by descending an E facing slope at 45º.
