Approach
From Moulin, (just under 2kms ESE of Chapelle d’Abondance on the D22), follow the snow shoe track towards Sur Bayard (Snow shoes not normally needed because the path is well trodden). This leads without difficulty to the foot the icefall.
Route
There are two lines: A large icefall of 60m, with a broad base, in the line of the torrent. often very sculptured. This is the one you see from the path, 3+/4. The other icefall of 40m is 30m further left, hidden in a gorge. You can see it from the first icefall. Fairly steep and with less features than the first one. Wide enough to give several lines 4 to 4+. Tree belay.
Descent
Abseil or by the path which passes near the top of the icefalls.
