Approach # 90mins
From Sixt en Cheval, take the road towards the Cascade du Rouget (via Salvagny) and go past the ski lifts.
Often the road is closed, (and not snow ploughed.) Park as far up as you can! Follow the ski de fond track and then the GR5 footpath, leading to “Vallon de Salles”, (road as far as Lignon). On exiting the forest, the icefalls can be seen on the left. “Bonhomme de Glace” is the line furthest right.
Route
P1: 45 m , 70°: Go up the middle of the wall, bolt belay on the right. P2: 40 m , 80°: Traverse to the right to go up a small runnel.
Descent
2 abseils.
The approach is on a good path. The climb is suitable for beginners. Beware of avalanches, (note the damage to the forest!)
