Approach # 1h

From the Torino hut, follow the normal route across the Col des Flambeaux - NW, 3407m – then descend diagonally to the NW under the Aiguilles de Toules and continue until the foot of the Aiguille d’Entrèves. Go across to the lowest point coming down from the Tour Ronde.

Route

Climb up the easy rock steps on the left for two pitches. Come back to the right to squeeze between some rocks, (like a cat!) Continue to go around the pillar to reach a terrace. You arrive at the foot of a chimney crack, 40m, 5c lots of pegs. There are then two difficult pitches up the front of the pillar, (2 small walls at 5c and 5b, which go free.) The climbing becomes easier, several pitches of 3.

Descent

By the normal route (E Face)
