Approach
From the Trient village, drive along the road to the second parking if possible. Then follow the track in the valley for about 1 hour. At the level of the reservoir you arrive directly below a N facing avalanche gully. This is the lower Petoudes sector. Go up the gully to reach 3 icefalls. The one on the left is the broadest, fattest and most interesting.
Route
L# | 50m | 2 walls, one of 15m at 85° L# | 50m | Lots of possibilities, in the middle gives 30m sustained at 75/80° L# | | Less steep, and snow. Belay in the rocks on the left.
Descent
Abseil down the true right bank of the icefall.
In the shade, a good chose of route if it is a bit warm elsewhere.
