Normal route of the Morzine

Ascent

From l’Erigné (1186m), take the road transformed into a cross-country skiing track in the direction of Charny. At point 1273m, take the right path which climbs gently until the Pont de Chardonnière (1309m). Traverse it and take the path which goes up on the right in the forest. Pass the Vigny refuge (1460m). You reach the route of GR5 and on the right leave the Bonnevalette chalets (1568m). You then see Golèse pass(1660m) which you pass to emerge at the Golèse refuge (1671m). You can also leave the road when it makes a marked turn towards the right (W) and go directly to the S to reach a depression just above the Golèse refuge. From the area of the refuge, go completely E over the broad slopes of l’Avouille to reach this summit (~2100m) little marked on the W ridge of Bossetan. Then follow the ridge until Pas de la Latte (2206m) which you can also reach by cutting over S slopes under l’Avouille. From Pas de la Latte, continue towards the summit of the crest, which is very broad and flattened on the end.
