Details
The Aiguille d’Argentière is a prominent peak in the Mont Blanc massif, located on the French-Swiss border. This route involves ascending via the Y Couloir and skiing down the Glacier du Milieu. From the Glacier d’Argentière, head toward the Col du Tour Noir and locate the start of the couloir. Climb the couloir (snow or mixed terrain, depending on conditions), and upon reaching the summit, descend to the Glacier du Milieu via steep slopes (45°). The slope gradually softens and widens until the bergschrund, which is crossed to rejoin the ascent route on the Glacier du Milieu.
