Pedestrian access
You can see part of the climbing area as you enter the village of Dorénaz, from Martigny. For the Carrière and Demi-lune sectors take the road through les Follataires and towards Fully for 200m until it is possible to park, (crag visible from the road.) The site is also easily reached from the “Vernayaz” railway station in about 10mins on foot, (Dalle des Vaudois.) You can see the crag from the station and there is a footpath that crosses the motorway.
Details
Gravière Sector: Routes from 5a to 6c, between 10 and 90m from left to right: No Name Grade 1 6a+ 2 5a 3 Hors jeu 4 Chemin obscure 5b 5 Petroleuse 5a 6 Gorge sèche 5b+ 7 Beau le caillou 6c 8 Le bonjour d’Amélie 6b 9 Papa peu ordinaire 6a+ 10 Variante 5b Tichodrome Sector 9 routes of 4 pitches, between 5c and 7a; La Vérité sector: 4 routes of 5 pitches, between 6b and 7a Bouldering Areas Demi-lune sector: About 15 routes of 3 pitches between 5b and 6b.
