Bivak III za Akom - Access route

Access route to the Bivak za Akom bivouac hut, from Gozd Martuljek.

Follow the signposted route southwards of the village of Gozd Martuljek, first on a small road ¹ until a parking lot, then signposted Pri Ingotu, Za Ak and Pod Špikom. After the path approaches the stream on the left (waterfall), at the flattening, follow the signs for Za Ak (the path for the bivouac Pod Špikom branches off to the right). At the end of the path, go down into the dry valley bed and follow it until the widening. Next, take a right into the forest (5min, cairns).

(1) In Gozd Martuljek, the small road branches off the main road downstream of the Jožica restaurant, and the forest road (pedestrians) just upstream from the Jožica restaurant. Both options meet at a parking lot.
