## Ascent

Head up along the Lizumbach (right bank) until around 1680m (fields and a few houses). Cross the bridge, and continue on the left bank of the Lizumbach, mostly flat. Around 1715m, follow the signs and climb up in the forest (head W) until you reach the road around 1850m. Follow the road, cross the military camp, and reach Lizumer Huette.

## Descent

Either the same way, or:

Climb up to the NE in the direction of Torspitze, until the flat part around 2260m. Head N and go down via the fields/opening in the forest next to Zirmachalm, and then all the way down to the valley. A bit longer (+250m climb), but much nicer going down.

Signs the whole way. Mostly flat apart from the part in the forest, around 6km in total.
