Lascar volcano

The Lascar has 3 summits: -W summit: the most “alpine” but also the lowest at 5515m. -Central summit at 5545m -E summit: the highest (5592m) and the one offering the best view of the crater.
IGM maps are a bit outdated and give poor information on access tracks and the like. The 5154m altitude often found on maps seems to be that of the bottom of the crater. Although the crater is very large… it is a strange idea. A map made by the german university of Dresden is much better and available in San Pedro de Atacama.
