Le mont Gamila fait partie du petit massif des Zagori dans la chaîne du Pinde">http://www.summitpost.org/area/range/398123/pindos-mountains.html">Pinde dont le sommet principal est le Smolikas (2637 m).

L’Astraka (2436 m) est également un sommet important de ce massif.
