<p>Day 1: Binn - devero for the nozzle Arbola (Albrunpass) Ascent: 1009&#160;m. - Descent 775&#160;m.) From Binn (m. 1400) reach Fäld (locally referred to as Imfeld - m. 1547), the last village of Binn Valley, along a path on the right bank of the river Binna or along the road. At the end of the road walking freely (paid parking), at a bridge over the Binna, are the signposts for the Binntalhutte and Albrunpass (nozzle Arbola): you can choose between the route on the right bank (following a traffic-restricted road) or the one on the other side (trail). Both rise gently and rejoin the pasture of Freichi (m. 1883). The dirt road continues now on the right side of the valley. In places Chiestafel (signpost - m. 1958) a path off to the right, beyond the bridge over the creek Turbewasser and rapidly gains altitude then along the margins of bogs Blatt (m. 2109) and Oxefeld (m. 2,193) of great naturalistic interest. Here at times is still well-preserved ancient paved mule track. You reach the Binntalhutte (m. 2267) and with a steep scree slope of the nozzle Arbola or Albrunpass (m. 2409). The trail descends steeply on the Italian side: left left the track for the Alpe Forno and Take Minoia, go to the lake Pianboglio that hovers on the left to reach the remains of the dighetta, through the emissary on a bridge and get off in the underlying valley to Lake devero. Take the path on the right side or the left, and then onto the track Crampiolo reach the plain of Devero (m. 1,634 - a range of accommodation. (Alpedevero.it/ospitalita.htm) Day 2: devero - Binn to the Passo della Rossa (Geisspfadpass) Ascent: 840&#160;m. - Descent 1074&#160;m.) From the village of Canton, at the northern end of the plain of Devero, take the path in the direction of N salt in the valley of the Red Army (a trait not very easy at the height of a water intake is facilitated by the installation of a chain) to reach a large boulder on the Plans Rossa (m. 2051). Continue on the path that bypasses a first ramparts of rocks and moves to the base of a rock plate that is exceeded thanks to a metallic scale of a few meters (m altitude approx. 2325) and a short section of chain. Passed a ride on easy rocks you come to the Bocca della Rossa (m. 2392) that leads to the wide valley dominated by the imposing bulk of the Punta della Rossa, strewn with boulders of serpentine-rich iron oxide which, in contact with atmospheric agents assume a characteristic reddish color. Extricating among the boulders on the well-marked trail and skirting some small pools of water will reach the Passo della Rossa or Geisspfadpass (m. 2474), characterized by innumerable little men. Dropping on the Swiss side to reach the lake Geisspfadsee (m. 2439) and earned a saddle-listed in 2456, take a valley debris coming down towards the plain of Manibode (m. 2026). You can go down directly, or to share ca. 2147 (signpost) to navigate to the right going up a few meters to go downhill sull&#8217;amena Mässersee basin of the lake, with a wide view of the Oberland peaks. From here we go back to Manibode where, at a crossroads, you can take a left or a right to Fäld Binn (Imfeld). With this second route will reach the quarry mineralogical Lenghenbach and then Fäld the street, along which was originally an interesting geological trail with boulders of different rock types and their informative panels in German and English (from near the hollow part the path on the left bank of the Binna to climb to the nozzle Arbola). From Fäld street (left) or path (right) at Binn.</p> <p>Obviously the ring is viable even starting from devero; it is advisable to follow it in the direction described. For walkers normal every stage takes about 6-7 hours. For supermen (and chatting) is easily doable in a day.</p>

<p>Colle aperto tra la Punta della Rossa (Rothorn) e il Pizzo Crampiolo Nord (Grampielhorn), mette in comunicazione il Devero con la Binntal. Deve il suo nome al colore delle rocce, costituite da serpentino ricco di ossido di ferro che a contatto con gli agenti atmosferici assume la caratteristica colorazione rossastra. <em>Geisspfad</em> significa invece sentiero di capre.</p>

<h2>Montée</h2> <p>De l&#8217;Alpe Dèvero, monter au NE en direction du Lago di Dèvero que l&#8217;on traverse intégralement à ski en hiver. Poursuivre plein N et remonter un petit couloir jusque vers 2240&#160;m, puis virer à gauche (W) pour atteindre l&#8217;Albrunpass/Bocchetta d&#8217;Arbola.</p> <h2>Descente</h2> <p>On rejoint rapidement la Binntalhütte au NW du col.</p>

<p>Valico aperto tra il monte Figascian (Albrunhorn) e la punta d&#8217;Arbola (Ofenhorn), collega l&#8217;Alpe Devero alla Binntal. Antico valico utilizzato per gli scambi commerciali tra Ossola e Lombardia a S e Goms a N fino all&#8217;apertura della strada del Sempione. A tratti si percorre ancora il lastricato dell&#8217;antica mulattiera Tra XV e XVI sec. fu utilizzato dalle truppe svizzere per scorrerie nell&#8217;Ossola.</p>
