Koča na Doliču (Tržaška koča) - through the Zadnjica valley

Marked and secured mountain hiking path (approx. 4h)

From the car park (700m), take the right-hand marked path/forest road for about 2km. At the large clearing (alt. approx. 1000m), turn left (N, NE) and follow the marked and (very) secure path which winds towards the Luknja pass (signposted Dolič/Tržaška koča, Triglav, Luknja, Vrata). After an hour’s walk above the clearing, the path for the Koča na Doliču mountain hut forks right, signposted Dolič, Triglav. Continue now towards the S. The mountain hut appears only shortly before one reaches it. Note that the path towards the Triglav summit turns left at approx. 100m below the hut.

There is an “adventure” alternate, graded T5, named Čez Komar. The route is not signposted at the clearing after the forest, but it can be seen from the marked path. This option is delicate to handle (some cables), poorly maintained and very sporadically marked. This shortcut comes out on the marked path, shortly below the mountain hut.
