Details
Forbidden so far, because we are in the middle of negotiation with the Parc for ecological reasons.
Thanks for not going there.
General Access
(Google Map)
From Grenoble take A41, to the 24.1 exit to Villard Bonnot. Take D30 towards Saint Pancrasse for 7kms and turn left to the “Col du Coq”. Park just before the “Col du Coq” pass, and hike up to the “Ayes” pass, then try to reach the summit of the “Dent de Crolles” through the “Pas de l’Oeil” (paragliders). 100m before the summit you will see “Le doigt de Dieu” (God’s finger).
Where?
Between the “doigt de Dieu” and a rock platform on the slope.
Linking
Grade III to climb God’s finger, then easy crossing.
Rigging
Double pulleys perfect.
A bit sketchy at the beginning, so plan to bring a crash pad.
