<p>(summer hiking version)</p> <h2>Access</h2> <p>Zadnjica (Trenta)</p> <h2>Ascent # 3h30</h2> <p>From the parking lot (700m), follow to the right a marked path/forest road for about 2km. At the large clearing (alt. approx. 1000m), turn left (N, NE) and follow the marked and (very) secure path which winds towards the Luknja pass (signposted Dolič/Tržaška koča, Triglav, Luknja, Vrata).</p> <p>After well an hour&#8217;s walk above the clearing, the path for the Koča na Doliču mountain hut forks right (S), signposted Dolič, Triglav. Continue straight ahead towards the Luknja pass (NE).</p> <h2>Descent</h2> <p>By the same path, or crossing to the Vrata valley.</p>

<p>The Luknja pass (or notch) is between Triglav (E) and Pihavec (2419&#160;m, W). The pass offers a passage (luknja = hole) between the Vrata valley (N) and the Trenta valley (S). Seen from the Vrata valley (below the huge Triglav N face), the Luknja pass is on the right, at the foot of the Triglav NW ridge.</p> <p>The Luknja Pass is the starting point of the route along the Triglav NW ridge (Plemenice), and the start of a path towards Bovški Gamsovec (access to the Razor/Prisojnik ensemble). On both sides of the pass, N and S, the tour skier has his word to say (and of course also the summer hiker).</p> <p>In the times of homemade meteorology, they used to say, on the N side (f.i. in Mojstrana), that if Luknja is visible, the weather would be fair. Note that the pass is on the watershed line: Black Sea (Sava, Danube) / Adriatic Sea (Soča).</p>

<p>Les Alpes Juliennes sont un massif des préalpes orientales méridionales. Elles s&#8217;élèvent entre la Slovénie et l&#8217;Italie , à proximité immédiate de l&#8217;Autriche. Le Triglav est le point culminant du massif et la figure emblématique de Slovénie. Le Parc National du Triglav offre de nombreuses possibilités d&#8217;ascensions et d&#8217;activité hivernales et estivales.
