Marked and secured mountain hiking path. One of the most beautiful routes in the Julian Alps. From the Koča pri Triglavskih jezerih] mountain hut, continue along the Valley of the Triglav 7 Lakes by following the signs &#8220;Hribarice&#8221;. Pass successively before the Great Lake (Veliko jezero) and the Green Lake (Zeleno jezero), and before the latter (alt. approx. 2000m) take to the right at the intersection, towards the Hribarice pass. At alt. 2274m (Kanjavec] to the left), continue towards the pass Čez Hribarice] (signposted Triglav, Dolič, Hribarice). At the pass (2358m, another option for Kanjavec to the left), head NE, signposted Dolič, Triglav. Descend heading N along the slope to the Dolič pass (2164m) and to the Koča na Doliču mountain hut (2151m) nestled at the bottom of a small valley between Kanjavec and Triglav. In case of foggy weather, beware of well sticking to the markings.

The Dolič is at alt. 2151m on the pass of the same name, SW of Triglav. It was built by the Italians in 1930, renovated in 1948, destroyed by an avalanche in 1951 and moved in 1952 to 1953. It was then renamed Tržaška koča ( &#8220;Trieste mountain hut&#8221;). It was signifcantly destroyed by an avalanche in the winter of 2008-2009; the mountain hut was since reopened, with 80 beds instead of 144 before the avalanche. On maps, the Koča na Doliču mountain hut often appears under the name of &#8220;Tržaška koča na Doliču&#8221;. On signs and inscriptions, the mountain hut is signposted Dolič, Koča na Doliču, Tržaška koča, or Tržaška koča na Doliču.
